The most important thing that may interest people in the path of Kundalini Maha Yoga and guide them are the experiences in meditation japa and daily life situations. I will share some such experiences.

I'd also like to remark that I share rather my overall impressions and experiences on the path, as I find it more significant and useful to inform the people. My point is that each one of us can have specific, individual experiences during our practices but what matters finally is the general feelings and the changes the path have brought in his/her life.

First, all started with guru-mantra. The Guru mantra is given by the Guru himself or under the guidance of one of his disciples. My guru is Dhyanyogi Omdasji and my teacher and guide for the guru mantra is Ms. Neela Iyer.

The Guru Mantra had instantly cleared up my mind so that I had the most natural, spontaneous meditation in my life till then. I had tried for 5 years before that to do meditation by reading books.

For the first time I came to realize why all scriptures praise mantra-diksha (initiation in mantra) and say that without it, mantra won't be effective (at least not so effective as to reveal its real potential).

I have been practicing the mantra japa since past few years. As scriptures say - the repetition is the key (kilaka) that unlocks the treasure of mantra-shakti (power) embedded in the mantra, i.e. the more I practiced japa (repetition of mantra), the more the power of mantra vibrations increases in me. Guru-mantra's power has been accumulated in the course of Kundalini Maha Yoga's lineage as the Guru Mantra has been passed on from teacher to student and the lineage is of great yogis and brahma rishis. I plan to write about this separately.

Today I can say mantra definitely has become my pillar in life and made me much more peaceful and sensitive than what I was before receiving and practicing the Guru Mantra Japa.

I'd like to pay more attention to Dhyanyogi Omdasji's Divine Sound meditation. It   is known in Sanskrit as Brahma Nada. At first, I had heard from friends that this record is incredibly powerful, but still I wasn't sure how true this was. Then I got my CD copy of it and played it. I was immediately blasted off by the harmony and the resonance of these sacred mantra chants - for sure - the most profound voice recording I have ever heard.  In few minutes I found myself as if in different world - the world of peace and harmony.

I began wondering about how pure, lofty, and powerful Dhyanyogi Omdasji must be to release such a record that can influence me and all people who listened to it in such a positive manner.

I don't exaggerate as this CD is not like the most meditation CD's you can find. Nowadays meditation CD's are created by artificial machine devices in artificial ambience. Though they are helpful I'd always prefer and trust natural sounds more. Life is anyway much industrialized and robotized today. The Divine Omdasji Sound Meditation CD is authentic expression of Shabda Brahman (God as Sound). And what must be noted here is that Divine Sound works without fail, even after hundreds of meditations with it, it still affects me deeply and I relish my meditation with the CD

In conclusion, as I have already said - the overall changes I have noticed in me since few years on the path are greater self-control, greater detachment and ability to look more objectively and calmly on life, better understanding of other people and hence better and easier relationships with them.  Changes did not come to me instantly but as series of spontaneous realizations at different times. The transformation which one undergoes  are gradual and one can't see it immediately. The changes are realized as flashes. Such transformations take place only in those who are dedicated and disciplined in practices.

The grand inner revolutions and changes are due to unfolding Shakti. Shakti is  the  source of Universe in the form of Spanda (vibration). With each expansion of Shakti, we get more subtle knowledge about ourself and the world and this Shakti leads us step by step to the very origin of Consciousness - Siva, the Consciousness that illumines all the Universe.
