Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji was one of the first masters to come out offering shaktipat initiation
in the open. Though relatively unknown in the West, unlike many others, he was considered in his country to be one of the
greatest kundalini teachers ever. Dhyanyogi, as was known to his disciples, had been awaiting for long time the meeting
with his main disciple, Omdasji. Omdasji had achieved high levels in Tantra sadhana with some great honours bestowed upon
him - as Sidhpith Aadeshwar (the most powerful saint) and Jagat Guru (world teacher). Yet, he wasn't at
the final stage of the path and his search for one who could give him shaktipat led him to Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji. Having
recognized his long awaited spiritual son, Dhyanyogi performed shaktipat on Omdasji and appointed him as his gadipati
(successor) in Kundalini Maha Yoga parampara (lineage).
In 1992, during the 116th birthday celebrations of Dhyanyogi
Madhusudandasji, in which representatives of different religions had gathered, the saint community of India conferred on Dhyanyogi Omdasji the title of “Yogi Samrat” – the King of Yogis.
